Barry Gisser

Congratulations to our client American Public Media Group (APMG) on hiring Barry Gisser as Chief Financial Officer. APMG is the parent company to Minnesota Public Radio. Doran Leadership Partners was engaged for a regional search, led by Heidi Westlind and project managed by Jared Quade.

As the velocity of APMG’s transformation to a digital and multi-platform organization is increasing, their CEO, Jean Taylor, was seeking a dynamic and strategic CFO to join the leadership team and help architect and drive APMG’s transformation. Barry Gisser was selected for his experience championing financial transparency and data-informed decision making, his experience leading transformation and his collaborative workstyle. Barry was most recently CFO at the Science Museum of Minnesota and held earlier career roles in senior finance at Procter & Gamble, ConAgra Foods and Ecolab.
