With years of exceptional results and strong prospects for the future, family-owned R.D. Offutt Company was seeking a strategic M&A leader to head corporate development for the company. Doran Leadership Partners was engaged in this national search led by Ali Biro and Maya Schultz and project managed by Mary Abiadal.

Erik Tone, the successful candidate, is from Minneapolis, MN. Prior to joining R.D Offutt Company, Erik spent ten years in Mergers & Acquisitions at General Mills and held positions at Lawson Software. Erik brings proven experience in deal sourcing, due diligence and portfolio management and a collaborative and positive style.

Located in Fargo, North Dakota, R.D. Offutt Company is an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented holding company with primary interests in heavy equipment dealerships, productions agriculture, consumer packaged goods, food processing and commercial and residential real estate.
