Our History
After decades of experience in executive search and management consulting, Libby Carrier Doran founded Doran Leadership Partners in 2019 with a dramatically different vision for executive search — one grounded in strategic rigor, respect and understanding, and genuine partnership with clients and candidates alike. DLP has pursued a singular mission from the start: Great Leadership. Great Leadership sparks the transformation that companies and organizations need to realize their vision and goals. DLP’s offerings have expanded from executive search to succession planning, organization and role design as well as board recruiting and development.
DLP opened its headquarters in International Market Square in Minneapolis in 2019 with a team of three. Since then, the firm has grown to more than 10 employees serving clients from a variety of industries – with an absolute focus on Great Leadership. The firm’s coverage is decidedly national, with team members in Minneapolis, Chicago, Boston and Baltimore. DLP’s clients span 14 states, and candidates are located in more than 40 states.
